Refund Policy

Actualiz Software LLC is committed to providing high-quality tools and services that help filmmakers and storytellers bring their ideas to life. While we strive for excellence in everything we deliver, we understand that questions around refunds may arise. This policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be considered for both our software subscriptions and service-based offerings.


1. Software Subscription Refund Policy (SaaS Products)

Actualiz Software LLC provides a subscription-based software platform (“Software Services”), which includes access to tools such as, but not limited to, AI script generation, screenwriting tools, character builders, story development, breakdowns, cataloging, and production planning.

Because this is a Software as a Service (SaaS) product, all payments made for subscriptions are generally non-refundable, except under limited circumstances described below.

Refunds may be considered in situations including but not limited to:

  • A technical failure on our end that prevents access to core features of the platform and is not resolved in a timely manner by our support team.
  • A billing error, including duplicate or accidental charges.
  • A customer who made a good faith attempt to cancel their subscription but was still charged due to a technical error or system failure.

Refunds will not be issued for situations including but not limited to:

  • Failure to cancel a subscription before the next billing date.
  • Dissatisfaction after use of the software or generated content.
  • User error, lack of usage, or misunderstanding of the tool’s purpose.
  • Compatibility issues with third-party software or hardware.
  • Inability to achieve a specific creative outcome using AI-generated materials.

Actualiz Software LLC reserves the right to review each request on a case-by-case basis and to approve or deny refund requests at its sole discretion.

Free Trial Policy

We offer a 7-day free trial so that you can explore the software and its features before committing to a paid subscription. We encourage all users to take full advantage of the trial to ensure the product fits their needs.


2. Service-Based Refund Policy (Writing & Creative Services)

In addition to our software platform, Actualiz Software LLC offers service-based products (“Creative Services”), including but not limited to script coverage, ghostwriting and other screenwriting services, pitch deck development, and related deliverables.

All Creative Services are backed by a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the delivered materials, you may request a refund under the following conditions:

  • The request must be submitted in writing within three (3) calendar days of delivery.
  • The request must include a clear explanation detailing the specific reasons you are dissatisfied with the delivered materials, and how they failed to meet the agreed-upon expectations or brief.
  • The dissatisfaction must relate directly to the scope of the work originally agreed to.
  • You must not have used, shared, distributed, published, or otherwise benefited from the delivered materials in any form.

Due to the nature of creative deliverables and the inability to reclaim or revoke access to them once delivered, all refund decisions will be reviewed thoroughly and issued only if deemed appropriate by Actualiz Software LLC.

Refunds will not be granted for vague or general dissatisfaction without specific feedback or in cases where the client has already begun using the work.


3. Abuse & Fraud Prevention

To protect the integrity of our platform and services, Actualiz Software LLC enforces a strict policy against refund abuse, including but not limited to:

  • Multiple or repeated refund requests from the same customer across unrelated purchases.
  • Attempts to obtain refunds while continuing to use or benefit from the software or delivered content.
  • Requests made without good-faith reasoning or without sufficient explanation for dissatisfaction.
  • Misrepresentation of circumstances in order to gain unauthorized reimbursement.

We reserve the right to deny any refund request that appears to be abusive or fraudulent. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform and related services in the case of refund abuse or policy violations.


4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team at:

Include the following information:

  • Your full name and the email address associated with your account.
  • The purchase or transaction ID.
  • A clear explanation of the issue, and in the case of service-based work, detailed feedback about why the deliverables did not meet expectations.

Once we receive your request, it will be reviewed by our support team. If your refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.


5. Modifications to This Policy

Actualiz Software LLC reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time, without prior notice. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
